Head to the park office after breakfast for a briefing at 08:00am. Thereafter, the rangers will guide you through the lush forest as you search for gorilla families.

Trekking can take between 2-6 hours, as such it is advisable for trekkers to be in good physical condition before embarking on the trails.

Nevertheless, once in close proximity with the gorillas, the experience of watching these incredible primates in their natural habitat is well worth the effort on the tiring forest trails. Quietly observe these gentle primates eat, groom and play in the forest.

Return to the lodge in time for dinner.

Start the day with a leisurely morning. Thereafter, you’ll start the excursion to Joshua’s Island where you will experience the local community life in Lake Bunyonyi. Learn how to make a “rolex”—a popular Ugandan delicacy—and see how traditional millet beer is made as you relax at a local bar. Take a tour of the homesteads in the Bunyonyi community.

Options of hiking, quad biking and swimming in the lake are also on offer.

After breakfast, fly back to Entebbe. Arrive and settle in at your hotel.

Set off at 08:00am for the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro crater. Stop for lunch at the scenic Ngorongoro crater view point. Enjoy an evening game drive as you head to your lodge.

Spend the day exploring the wonders of the vast Serengeti plains. Watch out for the zebra, wildebeest, elephants, pride of lions, cheetahs and giraffes among the numerous inhabitants of the plains.

Arise early once again for a morning game drive, giving you an opportunity to see yet more Zebras, Giraffes, Hartebeests and Big Cats on your way to the Ngorongoro crater. Arrive in time for lunch, while you take in the magnificent views of the crater. Enjoy some down time in the afternoon as you prepare for the following day’s activities. Settle in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro crater for an action-packed game drive.

Watch out for more lions, impala and gigantic elephants. In addition, you will also see the black rhino and jackals among several other animals.

You will then be driven to Arusha for your departure flight.
